ASHLAND, NE – August 17, 2009  – KZValve, a manufacturer of motorized ball and butterfly valves for 33 years, is proud to announce that their EH3/EH2 and EH5 series of actuators meet the IP X8 rating of the ISO 60529 Standard (Protection Against Water Intrusion Test) and also meet the Ignition Protection Test requirements of ISO 8846, the USCG, stated in Title 33 CFR 183.410 and the SAE J1171 Standard and are NEMA 7D rated.  The procedures used to accomplish these results are acceptable to the European Community and the United States Coast Guard respectively.  KZValve actuators have been and continue to be NEMA 6P rated.
